Yes you can!
Just make sure you use the thick shim behind the race,
then set your depth from there.
The standard GT kit is cheaper and has been working for years.....

So you do you think I should use the standard GT bearings or the SVT ones, I have 450 rwhp, and run it on the strip at 4-5 races a season.

I'd rather not make that call for you.
Either way the main thing is a good gear set up!
A well built 8.8 can handle twice your hp.
I always tend to over do things myself, if the
B1 kit makes you feel better go for it...another $50?
