This is too bad, as I thought the original intent was to hark back to the days of arm dropped street races. Everyone brings fully raced prepped cars now--what's the point--I can watch real drag racing all day long elsewhere.

Then again, I think in what, 3 years, they've had an 11 second field and a 12 second field once each. Not good odds but you never know...

No Video/Film Cameras allowed
No outside Food or Drink
No Weapons

Everyone entering the Competitor Entry Gates on Friday March 20 will be required to buy a Weekend Admission Pass or Competitor Admission.

Due to space limitations all competitors will be allowed only one vehicle into the pits. All Additional Support Vehicles will be directed to park in the spectator parking. Please Plan accordingly

Saturday March 21, 2009 – Pinks: All Out

It says the reached there limit today. Or am I reading it wrong?
Looks like I will have to try the qualifying thing on the 7th or 14th if I can get the car ready.

Yea, just saw that on the web site. "We apologize for the computer issues". I bet they got hammered with people trying to enter. Looks like March 7th and 14th are the only times to attempt to qualify.

Wonder why they cant have a few shows that have TRUE street car. Set the rules of what they deem a street car and then have at it.... I know of a hand full of bad ass street cars around here and as BIG as Texas is, I know it would be one hell of a show!!

For the same reason that True Street at FFW is bullshit. They have 3000lb cars with full cages, tubbed, panned, 4 link, and have a fucking inspection sticker and tags on it and call it a street car. How many fucking street cars do you see with a parachute.

And I STILL made the Quick 8 damnit!!
