PLEASE Hood Opinions

Hey there,

I am asking the opinion of all you s197 owners out there what hood you would get if you were in my position. Right now i have the Saleen bodykit on my 07 gt (sans rear spoiler, and rims). I am sort of torn between two hoods, the stock supercharged saleen hood, or the trufiber GTS3. I love the aggressive look of the GTS 3 but i am just not sure if it would fit what i have already. I also really like the saleen hood, and i know that it would fit with the rest of the car body kit but i am just not sure that it is what i want. Well if money was no object what would you guys choose just so that i know

Also i dont know if it changes anyones opinion but my car is torch red and after the hood going with matte black stripes and rims.

thanks for your opinion and i still would like other opinions about it. I love the saleen but i also really llike the gts3, it just looks so mean and aggressive. But i found a STEAL for the aluminum saleen hood.

If you found a good deal on the aluminum one, then jump on it man. I know people have differing opinions on mods, but the Saleen hood is (in my opinion) one of the best looking hoods for the s197. It doesn't look overly aggressive, but it changes the whole look of the car. It took me 9 months to find a used Saleen aluminum hood that wasn't either beat to hell or overpriced. Those suckers retail for $1600 new

if you can get a Saleen alum hood for $600 JUMP ON IT!!

IMO looks great, will fit better, weighs less, and is a functional heat extractor!

Saleen is a very nice looking hood. I'd go with that if you can get that kind of deal on it.

nope found this guy on craigslist and now it looks like he already scammed someone over at mustang forums out of 1000 dollars for the hood
