I have a 2012 that I am trying to figure out where this plug goes to. Its located in the drivers lower front facia area.

It is attached to a pigtail that branches off just before the horn assembly plug. The pigtail is about 12" long. Im rebuilding a wreck and some things were missing before I started.
The plug ia marked with
E3S8 14489 R

I appreciate is someone directs me to the paypal ford manuals but I did donate and when I link to the wiring diagrams it says that link is not supported.

I have heard it mentioned that there is an ambient temp sensor in the front facia area...maybe it goes to that?

Thanks a lot, I googled the ambiant temp sensor and the pics show enough that I can identify the plug. Thanks.
