What color adaptation for black our black? Is it just Single?

Not to threadjack, but I have a question. I picked up some of the Polish Angel spray wax and I'm not sure if I applied it correctly. It seemed when I sprayed it onto the car it, for a lack of a better word, "splashed" everywhere leaving small circular spots of wax that I found difficult to work out. I was afraid of being too aggressive since my car is black. I ending up just spraying it into a microfiber towel and then wiping it onto the car. Any tips?

Which one do you have Andrew, RapidWaxx? If it is, you really have to shake the shit out of the bottle. When I used it, I'd spray once onto the MF then one good spray onto the panel. A little goes a long way even though it may no seem like it. Whatever you do, be sure the panels are cool and don't let it dry. Hope that helps!

Is your color code Black UA? If you're going to do color matched cosmic (Single Stage), you'd select single stage and enter this code M6373A Black UA

Use a citrus base soap when you wash, that should remove the wax. If you can, I'd get PA Centurion for your ride, incredible shit!

No Topper needed, just keep out of the elements/water for the initial 12-24hrs...you're going color match right Scott?

I have never used "high dollar" detailing products, but I must admit, this stuff has me intrigued. My paint is needing a little love after two years and 25K miles.

So the only pre-work before applying is a good wash and clay bar? Then apply the primer with a DA, and the Glasscoat Cosmic by hand?

I do wanna state for everyone interested in Cosmic or any coating for that matter - they're really the icing on the cake. One must get the paint swirl free - paint correction - before applying the coating. Primer does have cutting abilities with diminishing abrasives but if paint is in bad shape I'd recommend compounding first then polishing with Primer. Cosmic is the 3rd coating I've had on my ride in the last year - Pinnacle Black Label then Cquartz UK - UK was excellent but my OCD was intrigued when I found out about Cosmic...

I'd recommend doing a test spot first with Primer - IronX is a chemical decon spray that will remove below surface contaminants that claying won't...since your baby is garaged, my gut says you'll be fine with Primer.

Ironx is a product made my carpro. It is used to help in the decon process. It helps remove iron particles and other contaminates before claying. You can also use this on your wheels to get the tough brake dust off.
