So I got some wheels and used some mothers on them. They look great from 2 feet but I am a bit picky....How can I get rid of the spots.....

I would say use a Dremel tool with a polishing wheel to get the face of those spokes cleaned up. Use the lowest grit compound they make. Not sure which color that is though. But Dremel has a compound specifically for things like this.

first off..... those look like chrome fr500's (never seen polished ones) so that would most likely be chrome piting.

In that case, you might want to ask around your local tire shops for someone who knows how to polish wheels really well. I know how I would personally do it, but if you don't have much experience in polishing, you would do best to go ahead and pay someone to do it for you.

Ya, i gave TF a call, they said to either do that or try the adams polish, and if that does not help I could begin wet sanding with 1200 and go up to 2000 then polish again.....

Nice wheels, I would try Adam's Polishes METAL POLISH 1 & 2 COMBO found here http://www.adamspolishes.com/p-602-adams-metal-polish-1-2-combo.aspx. Call me blind, I can't tell but if they are etched or have scrathes/swirl marks that a finger nail can catch. If so, then you will need to have them wet sanded and polished (if it's in the metal). Good luck!

EDIT: Beat me to it while I was typing it!

This is exactly what you want to do. I really like the Optimum Metal Polish as well.

You're probably going to have to wet sand it like mentioned, and then repolish.

I had to do that to my hood. After many days of sweat and tears, it turned out great:

From FRPP those hoods come bare aluminum. I wanted to do something to set the car apart from the rest at a big car show I do every year. With the bare aluminum just staring at me, it just made sense to give it a shot.
