Possible Coolant Leak

Hi, been a long time since I've posted here. I have an 05 GT. About an hour ago I reversed it out the garage to wash it, and when I went back in for the bucket I saw two small puddles of yellow/green liquid about 2 feet apart, in rear of where the front wheels were sitting, maybe 6 inches in on each side from the wheel track. I'm trying to arrange to get it up on a ramp ASAP locally to see what's going on down there. From where I've described, are there any coolant hoses that far back on the engine? It's definitely too far back to have come from the radiator.

Two small puddles two feet apart (towards the rear of the engine?) sounds like it's dripping down the back of the engine on each side of the trans. Heater hoses are in the center of the firewall so one of them may be leaking. Another possibility is the coolant hose/pipe in the central valley of the engine but you should be able to see any puddling with a flashlight. (May have to remove the throttle body to see better). Beyond those difficult to say. As you said get it up in the air so you can see what's going on.

I had a quick look at it this morning, good under the hood and managed to get a torch in to see down between the cylinder banks, dry as a bone. Also managed a look at where the two hoses enter/exit the firewall, they also appear dry. I moved the car backwards and checked the ground where it was standing overnight and also dry. I hope once it's on the ramp tomorrow something becomes apparent. I've marked the expansion tank while cold so I can monitor whether coolant is leaking.

When you get it up if you can't find anything you may need to have it running to get the system up to temp/pressure.

As you say, didn't find anything or any sign of a leak staining anything. Had it on the ramp engine running with it warmed up, unfortunately I didn't think of running the a/c but the normal heating was on. I've marked the expansion tank when cold and will monitor it every time I go to use it, also I'll check under it regularly. Obviously now it will be out the garage very rarely until March so this may be a long process.

Are you sure the water didn’t come from the exhaust pipes? Mine always dribbles water on the floor when I fire it up after setting a few days. Especially in humid weather.

I, too, have a mysterious leak. Checked the heater hoses at firewall, dry. Haven't removed the TB to look down the central valley, but expect that's where it's coming from. No visible leaks from anywhere on the front of the engine, but clearly dripping down the backside of the oil pan...
