Possible Fuel smell from right side of the engine?!

I have this problem that i smell something (im thinking that its most likely fuel) coming from the right side of the engine (when looking at it from the front). Im curious as to what is causing this smell? I've only noticed it while its cold, and it only ever has a smell while its running. Any help would be most appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Check to make sure nothing is coming from your injectors.

I haven't noticed anything wet around the injectors. Could i just have a bad o-ring or seal on one of the injectors that's just enough to be smelling like fuel but not leaking fuel??

Double Checked the Injectors

I got to looking at the injectors after a couple hard pulls and a bit of a long night, and the front two left injectors (if looking from the front of the engine) were wet around the top. Is that just a bad o-ring on the injector? If so, can i just buy new orings instead of replacing them?

Yes you can get new orings, 14mm.

How many do you need? (i would recommend all 3).
If you have two on the driver side that are potentially leaking, might as well replace all 3.

I think Ihave a few extras (from Ford) I'll sell you. You don't want to get cheapy ones, as they need to be good and strong to hold under the pressure, and can handle fuel.

When you remove the fuel rail, the injectors will probably stay in the engine. In the 4.0 they are in there tight and are a bitch to get out..and then a bitch to get back in! The fuel rail end is pretty easy though.

I didn't see your reply until now, but i found a set of orings from LateModelRestoration.com that fit perfectly. Some of the injectors came out with the fuel rails (i did both sides) and some stayed in.
Everything went back in fairly easy with minimal wiggling.
