Where are you buying from?
Numerous places over the years. But also going to swap meets and car shows (I have like 2 cases of wiper blades from a Goodyear distributor selling off overstock.)

Electriduct and CrimpSupply are two I can think of off the top of my head.

Don't discount Amazon and eBay, too. You can come across some good deals. Probably a little more expensive now, but nowhere near the costs for a few pieces at the box stores.

Most of my stuff on reels is plain shrink tubing, though. Glued and/or double-walled shrink tubing is more expensive, but the same thing applies. Long as you store it good, it basically all lasts forever.

@Autokyrios Hopefully you weigh all the steering stuff you'll be pulling off. I'm curious what it all weighs.
I've been told the weight difference is marginal (I can attest that the electric rack feels - on just looking it over - heavier than the hydraulic rack). Supposedly the EPAS weighs about the same as the hydraulic rack+pump+reservoir, but we'll see. I have a cooler as well but it only weighs 3lbs.

Steering replacement project has officially started (kinda).
Last night I got around to taking out the hydraulic (stock) steering setup, including the rack, lines, reservoir, pump and pulley.
I'm ready to put the 'new' electric rack in, but am holding off as I'm doing some work around the engine bay and the extra space is great.
I'll post pictures if anyone cares (for the old stuff, removed). Will post pics of the EPAS once I get to installing it.
I'm going to clean up the hydraulic stuff and then weigh it so I can compare with the EPAS setup. I'm told the weight of the hydraulic system is the same as the EPAS rack, but we'll see for sure.
The hydraulic stuff is in great shape. Not sure if these have any value worth selling, but if the EPAS works okay and the stock setup is worth it I may throw it up for sale. Don't have any need to keep it.

Exactly what I did. I still have my old hydrologic setup. Holding on to it in case someone needs it. Good luck with the swap. Hopefully it will go smoothly for you.
