Problem 1 - Coolant system.

A few details about the car:

Whipple HO @ 10 psi
47k miles on car, 36k with Whipple installed

#1 There appears to be a slow leak in radiator coolant as the coolant in the reservoir is slowly depleted. I filled it up 2 weeks ago and there is about a 1/4 tank of fluid in reservoir. This appears to have been going on for a while. The tank has never gone completely dry, but it always appears to drop down to 1/4 tank after a few weeks and remain there. There is a white residue around the top of the tank under the cap. The oil is not milky. There is no fluid under the car. The car does not run badly, no excessive smoke or roughness. I/C reservoir holding fluid is fine. I do not see any obvious leaks around the crossover pipe, etc. Car does not overheat and stays within normal temps.

I'm guessing that maybe the cap is faulty...? I will try this first.

Similar problem with mine as well. Bought one cap and it still did it but fortunately had another one to try and that fixed it.

There may be a leak under the manifold that the blower bolts to. Had that happen on an install where the heater core hose off the back of the water pump was leaking just a little.

You can go to a radiator repair shop and do the black light / dye test.
But, I agree with radiator cap being loser. Seems to be a common problem on these cars.
Also, the quality of cheap caps is getting worse. I bought a good STANT CAP. No issues since.

Well I got the new cap yesterday and so far so good, but I'll wait to confirm in a week or two. Apparently the cap has been superseded 2x before from what the parts guy said and the design looks completely different than the original. It will be great if the cap is all there was to it! lol :beer:
