its either this(3FASS-004) or (3FASS-008) not sure what the diff is between the alum and steel flange and your going to need the hardware.

another option is the vortech mondo. you can get that cheaper and does the job very well..

If you are interested in the open race valve, I have one I can sell you. Steel flange is brand new & the BOV was only on the car for some dyno runs.

you want to get it welded in. thats why the steel flange one is important to get

they are in the middle .. flange and gasket for either alum or steel..

mines welded on the lower IC pipe(driver side).

I love dirty streets.. one good rev and a big dust cloud forms. (bad azz) TS cant do that

i had the vortech bov on my old turbo civic. it held and sounded great!

So is there any real benefit to upgrading to the race valve?

No benefit at lower boost levels, but once you step it up to 15-16psi and more it's a good thing. The small 1" BOV that comes in the kit doesn't bleed the pressure off fast enough between shifts when you're really getting on it, and you will blow apart your TB.
