Started this project few months ago and is almost complete, thought Id share it with you guys.
It may not be a mustang TRUE but it has a heart of a GT500.
What I started with.
1) GT500 ENGINE
2) tr6060 trans
3) Long hurst shifter
4) Driveshaft thats ready to be cut as measurements needed (Last step)
5) 2 aeromotive fuel pumps
6) 1000 micron Fuel filter
7) Division x fuel rails
8) Aeromotive fuel regulator kit
9) Hydraulic Booster (For the bigass 4v Cyl heads )
10) dual 600 cfm radiator slim fans with relays
11) gt500 Engine control pak
12) gt500 complete engine trans harness
13) Electronic throttle pedal
14) Spec clutch stage 2
15) Mcleod Hydraulic adj. master cylinder
the truck was 4x4 but i ditched that because I don't really need 4x4 to where I will be driving it.
here goes the first week of the build
How she sat
Engine & trans out
Dirty Engine bay
Degreaser sprayed on all of the body after stripping out the harness
Tank before
After its being steam washed. Notice all the rust.
I cleaned and restored the Hydrobooster, fuel tank is cleaned and painted black as well, sprayed the Frame n made it pretty.
She sits, Yes.. Fits so easily,No issues.
Had to hammer the wall a bit for that perfect clearance.
No issues with the sweet AC
AN issue with the alternator as it has to be relocated due to the steering rod.
Look where the TR6060 Shifter reaches.. Lol. got this to solve THAT!!

Not the two studs, Thats where the Shifter meets.. Too close for my taste.. Im not gonna do any cutting for this one.
So far I've got the Engine and trans in.. Managed to finish off few bits and peices with Radiator, Res tanks and the Alternator.
Looks a bit messy but that all will be clean when done.
Looks like there is plenty of space for a 2" Header manifold/
4x4 canceled out ofc
