My vote would be the VFN hood (im biassed though) and no badges at all

I am not sure how to go about that with a dominator. Wonder if someone makes a shaker setup for a dominator?

Also, I am experimenting with some side decals to replace the badges. Too much? Too big? Different font perhaps? A voice in my head (I think its Chevykillers) is saying they are fine. But I am thinking they are a little big.

Those don't look good IMO. I like the idea, but doing a decal will look 'cheap' - get exactly that - but get the old school emblems and don't use a decal. You can get damn near the entire alphabet in old school adhesive emblems lettering, so just get the letters and do it right.

I agree about the lettering, I don't really like it. I also think that a cowl hood would look perfect on your car!

Still haven't decided on the hood. What should I do? Should I continue the Boss 429 theme and go with the CJ scoop from Ford Racing ($450)---or should I go with this cowl hood from VFN?

I like this better then the cowl hood. I bet you would be able to cut the hood under this to make it functional too.

I like this idea but not the letters used or even a decal. I think Mark has the right idea with old school stick on letters.

I was thinking 572 SCJ or BOSS 572. Not even sure if its going to end up a 572, it probably will be larger. The max capability of the block is 604 CID, but I want to have enough meat for 2 or 3 rebuilds, so it may end up being a 580 something.

I am leaning towards the SCJ as the scoop would match the theme, plus technically its not the Boss Hemi head, as I could not come up with the extra coin to get those Boss 9 intake and heads (which by themselves are worth another 100 hp over the P51 heads).
