Sweet build! Can't wait to see the finished product!

Maybe we'll catch you at a PSCA event later this year or next.

I will make the Las Vegas race in November for sure.

Not sure about the September race though.

Street car Supernationals? We may be able to make that one, but there's not really a class there for us to run I don't think, I'll have to check this year's rules.

Anyway, car looks awesome. Gotta love the big power N/A cars.

I wish it was. Trust me, there will be engine dyno vids. Going to the engine shop next week to take pictures of the progress.

Ok, went by the shop today to check out the pistons. They look really nice, and they have a 12 CC dome which, when you calculate the compression using the deck height, the head, head gasket, and pin height, comes to:

16.21 to 1 compression. Haha.

The shortblock will be assembled next week, will take pictures of that before the heads go on. Here is a couple pictures of the A460 block, the the cylinder bores machined to 4.500, the lifter bores are finished, but still needs deburring.

sweet build. very similar to the engine in my dads s\c car but you have a tick more compression...we kept his down around 14.5:1
did you try to lift that block yet....how about the crank.....regular 460 block takes 2 people but that A460 block takes a f'n forklift !:omfg:
they are strong though.

What car was it in and what did it run? This engine is going to be 700lbs vs the 435 for a 4.6 mod motor.
