Going to be in Reston this weekend helping my oldest brother move. Picking the car up today and need to put some miles on it, so hopefully I'll be driving it down to his place. HIt me up if you are going to be in the area.

I'll be working all day Saturday but I'm off Sunday.


It's my day off today and I decided to jump in the car, get some gas and clean it up before the storm. Took a couple clips, I love the sound of the eaton screaming. lol

Are you running the stock GTB Mufflers with it?

Yeah, I'll probably blow them to pieces within very little time, but I want something quieter to counter act the O/R sound.

My 2.9L at just 14lbs with 1 7/8" longtubes, and a tune, made 666rwh. The rest was stock.

I still want you to get that Whipple.

That sound's glorious. I just keep freaking thinking that it will not close with the stock hood.

Looking at the following setup

Whipple 2.9 with 3" or 3.25" pulley
72lbs or 55lbs injectors
VMP Plug-and-play BAP
FRPP 65mm TB - Already own
FRPP Cobra Jet CAI - becuz racecar
ARH 1 7/8" Headers w/ X + GTB or Borla Touring Mufflers

Don't have an ETA for when I plan for it all, but probably will be for spring/summer 2015

So far I've put 130~ miles on the engine.

That's a really good combination of parts, and very similar to what I had done to mine. That's a very good, very driveable combo.

I haven't tried a lot of exhaust setups but I was super happy with the Borla Touring with my TVS and off road headers. A touch loud for me but deep and rich sounding, a real head turner. Whomping on the throttle sounded simply delightful.

I'm hoping that will be the case for me. I don't need something that grabs attention with small throttle input.

Trying to fish out a sound on the driver side rear of the vehicle today. It only makes a sound when I'm driving and it's very audible against a wall. It's there even if I'm at a crawling speed. Sounds like a crinkle tube is rubbing against the wheel or something rotating as I'm driving.

Speed sensor rubbing the axle behind the dust shield? Any issues with traction control or antilock braking?
