I forget but have you actually tried a different belt?

When I started researching the ticking noise on the GF's car, one of the scenarios was that the pulley on the supercharger might be in too far or not in enough so the belt might be trying to jump it.

I put a new belt on it, it lasted about 2-3 months and now with the cold weather it's doing it again.
Not replacing the damn belt again. It wasn't that much fun and not something I want to do in 30-degree weather.

Now mine's doing it too ..... squeak squeak squeak .... until the engine's warmed up.

Pisses me off but whatever.

That's what we are thinking. One of our customers is experiencing this with his FRPP TVS and I'm thinking about taking the tensioner off and seeing if that takes the noise away, probably since it is putting pressure against the snout that isn't lined up fully.

Also we noticed something else... The coolant hose on the bottom is bending on the sway bar... Has anyone seen this issue? I have the regular BMR K member and FRPP Sway bars

Those tubes are super close from the factory. I lowered my engine a full inch, and had to run that tube/hose under the sway bar. You can shim your radiator support downward 1/2" to gain more clearance. Aside from that, I don't know of a solution.

You could just do the "car delete" mod and send that POS down here. I'll drive the shit out of it...err I mean dispose of it for you.

I'm glad you figured out the clunk in the rear though.

Wow awesome thread, didn't even know it was here till today. I've been tinkering with this engine mod idea as well. I like how you did it. I'd love to find a wrecked donor 13 gt500 and put the engine and driveline in my 05. Interior too

Pshhhhhhh.

I am too, but now the exhaust is making up for that headache since it scrapes on everything.

Thanks man. Yeah, I would have love to swap the interior over from the new ones.

In retrospect I think I would have liked a full 13/14 interior with track apps and a 5.0 N/A powerplant too.

I'd love to find a wrecked Boss on the cheap and swap it all over with the exception of my T56 transmission. 13 boss or 13/14 Gt500 would be the dream hehe.

What did you end up deciding to do with the exhaust? Ever get that 07 stock mid?

Been way too busy to mess with it, the MRT H is still on it. If I get time and money freed up, I may just go with ARH LT's w/ OR H so the fitment is a better... the MRT really isn't optimized for lower engine mounts and figured I may want some custom grind cams for it later so cats wouldn't be too wise.

Gotcha, makes sense. Boy, custom grind cams would be soo sick on that thing.

Kind of been doing this thing called "saving money" ... it sucks. BUT if I do LT's, I will be doing some NSR custom grind ones. I miss how nasty my Bullitt sounded with the Hot Rods and Corsa mufflers.

I appreciate it brochachi - I was suppose to mount my other wheels today but the 3 inches of snow prevented me from driving it to the shop. Toyo R888 in snow = early death.
