Well we all know the long time it took with the built motor going into the stang, it has about 1 week if that and it should be making its way to another shop to get the rest of the work done to it.

SO with setting my next goals for the stang, I made calls checked numorus websites, forums... I finally found a shop that I felt comfortable with to do this Project.

My choice was one of our sites very own sponser.. And to top that one of the newest ones...
After trading emails back and forth when I had everything answered and felt good. I gave
KEVIN@ PIEDMONT MODULAR PERFORMANCE a call late night and on his own family time he had no problem in speaking with me and answering ALL my concerns for 1 hour.. yes 1 hour... Talk about customer service , i feel its already starting out on the right foot..

I expressed my concerns about Communication, accuorate quote, time of complition.
His answers made me feel pretty good. As a matter of fact I had a written quote the next day in .pdf sent to my email.. very detailed. I will release to the communtiy what PIEDMONT will be doing very shortly, But out of respect I will not be releasing the price quotes. Lets just say Im getting more through them then I would if I went to any other shop around me.

So to release the details to the ones saying to themself .. yaddayadda whats he doing .......

Kenne Bell Boost-a-Pump
wiring upgrade
CHE adj STB ( silver)
Race Tq limiters (currently running poly's)
Install zex nozzle
Powdercoat Valve covers silver (outsourced)
Local tuner that has F/I 4.0 experince already


IM more stoked about this project then Project secret six.. lol... reason being is I know my car will be finished and I will be getting it soon with in 2 weeks once Piedmont gets the car

Kevin said that he can take pics as the progress goes along. So when this unfolds very soon be on the look out for the up dates with pics..

Ohh by the way..... if you check out powerhouse411 you should see the 3 in stock drop to 2 as i Ordered the turbo kit prior to posting this..

Welcome to the site. I agree, Josh and Kevin are pretty awesome. They are the ones that are going to put my engine and other parts in once Larry H is done with it and I redeploy back to the states. They have been pretty awesome helping me out with my little project and they have been pretty cool about storing a bunch of suspension parts in their shop waiting on my car.

I hear you I'll get the car back and then deploy again LOL.... where my car will go to powerhouse up in Pa to get the tranny/axle/ rollcage put in it aswell as heavy heavy tuning So when I get back 15 months later Ill be where I want it to be...

My motor is installed in the car and they re-did the 2n d start up and running fine.. there taken the weekend to test drive it. I clal mondy if every thing is good and everything is a-ok then Ill schedule the carrier to go get it and they should have it by july 30th for sure.. and 1-2 weeks it should be rocking

29- july update
well the car is finished up in GA it now sports a
fully forged bottom end, highly P& P heads, and regrind cam, titanuim springs and retainers, custom valves, aftermarket shorty headers, full BMR k-member replacement (cradle). IT at its next location PIEDMONT MODULAR PERFORMANCE awaiting the Powerhouse Turbo. My Count down starts T-33 days

TEASER!!!!!!!! this is the motor NA as of the current date 1 AUG 2007
every knows the motor is a built SSM motor with a stg 3 head w/ re grind cam... exhaust is a dual magnaflow with custom H pipe. Headers are MAC shorties.. stock intake..

THis is at IDLE. 56 seconds of pleasure for everyone to enjoy

413/455 (only 9* Timing) On a SEVERLY heatsoaked engine. It was 109* in the shop when we had the car dynoed.

Don't let the Dyno #'s fool you. This car has A LOT more in it than the paper tells!

I don't think I could hold my own against it at the track or on the street from a roll. Kevin doesn't think he even has much for it either..... This thing is crazy!

Very excited about this Joey. Thanks for posting it over here. Your car with the right tires and launch should run mid 11's easy, with better air you could see south of that. Plus you got the bottle.
