proper exhaust sound

First let me start of by saying that I live in Palm Beach County, Florida. This means emissions are no concern of mine. I daily my car, and I am looking for a nice exhaust tone. I used to run o/r x pipe with slp loudmouths, but I got too many tickets for improper muffler. there is no way that I will ever put my cats back on, so the slps had to go (btw they are for sale if anyone wants them ha). I am basically running o/r x pipe right now with stock mufflers, and it sounds good, but it is too quiet. I want something louder especially with my cams going in soon. I had a couple things in mind, but I am not sure how loud they will be as compared to the loudmouths.

The magna packs I'm afraid would be extremely loud with no cats, unless you added some resonators in line. I have the 2.5" version with longtubes and a catted x and love em!

get the KR mufflers, they are deep and loud, drone is very minimal.

I like mid muffler but better off just to buy a couple pypes m80s and have the welded in your stock pipe. I can't say how loud they will be as I have magnaflow high flow cats, but here is a recent video. Also no video gets the deep sound of this system

I have them on my car, and im making 519 wheel. sounds almost stock at idle, and sounds very mild at cruise, when you get on it, it barks pretty good.

It's loud but it sounds damn good and I daily drive my car with them.

I have Magnaflow 2.5" o/r X with Magnapacks and I'm not a big fan. The trumpetting at 2700 RPM gets annoying fast. Idle sound is good, not too loud but just enough. Not too loud under 2k RPMs but picks up around 2500+ and trumpets at 2700-2750. After 3k RPM it does sound pretty badass...loud and mean. The only thing i dont like, as I said, is the trumpetting.

Its not a typical deep sound, tough to explain to actual sound...if you are used to or like the deep "flowmaster" type sound, then Magnapack is not it.

If you want something quiet buy a Cadillac. You drive a fucking Mustang for crying out loud. I never got annoyed by my exhaust and it was loud as hell.

i agree. i used to have slp loudmouths with an off road x-pipe, but i kept getting into trouble with the law.
