Pulling a 5.0

If anyone has pulled one out chime in, how is it? Any helpful hints? I'll be pulling mine out in about 2 weeks any help would be great!

I should be quite fun lol... Seen very impressive results with a D1, so i'm pretty excited to see what the F1A can do

I saw one on a cobra at mustang week... Well let me correct, i heard it before i saw it. Sounded like an F16 on deck for take off... Should be a pretty cool project.

Going to be running all out Super Stang next year and plan to drive to all the races.

Goal is going to be 10.2' to 10.3's in the dead heat and 10.0's in the cool (with hopefully a dip to the 9's in the spring and fall)

Going to lower the compression some, not sure how low. Probably the 10.0 Diamond Pistons, Manley Rods. Gonna have Bischoff here locally slap everything together.

For shits and giggles I might have the heads looked at, but they flow pretty good to start with. But Bischoff is a friggin magician with an engine. Just took 1st and 2nd place in the engine masters again.

Haven't decided on the fuel system yet. I'm debating a return style system, but we've got about 3 months to play around and decide what we want to do.

Didn't get around to messing with it today, but hopefully this week.

Sounds like youre in the same boat as me. I'm going 10;1. Probably going to run twin walbros with a boost a pump and 80lb injectors but we'll see. I'm told these cars have the exact same pumps as the 2011 gt 500 so we'll see how far those will go with a boost a pump.
