So which is it?

I can get it lie flat against the head but the holes don't align. The holes in the header flange are about 1/4" towards the rear of the car.

If I align the holes by hooking the bottom flange slots onto the 4 lower bolts it hits the k member long before the flange lies flat against the head.

Sorry. I was rather pissed when I typed up that first post.

Noticed this yesterday and decided to do a little layover just for the non-believers. Now, I know that still doesn't answer why it fit Tim's car and not mine but if they made the K-member/frame piece just a little wider in the 08-10's then that would account for it. I don't know but this makes me feel better because now I feel pretty certain that this header is one of the bad batch which is why it won't fit not my inability to install.

I just checked. I believe my passenger side header looks like the Summit one.

Jeff that is definitely some progress. I bet your feeling much better now knowing that you are not at fault.

Hope you make some more progress and get some help from AM to support the case.

You guys don't know how bad this has been messing with my head. I feel better now.

I will try touching base with AM on Monday.

Just to update this post. I sold the shitty Pypes headers to another member who was going to chop them up and put them on his project truck.

I bought A set of Kooks from Gallopingford...no hammers were required for the install!

so far, customer service with the pypes has been pretty good for my customers.

i sold probably 10 sets over the last 2 months. One customer received a set, that had a flange that was not perfectly flat, he emailed me a picture, i forwarded to my rep at pypes, they shipped him out a new header that day.

which is contrary to what they told the OP. they said they couldn't seperate a set of headers to sell him just one. That seems kinda dumb.
