Pypes bad product even worse customer service!

which is contrary to what they told the OP. they said they couldn't seperate a set of headers to sell him just one. That seems kinda dumb.

I think in general, these are made in sets, most manufactures don't sell individual sides of headers.

in my case, the customer had just purchased the set of headers, and was the original owner, so their was an issue, needed to be addressed, and it was fixed.

the op got a set of headers as well, that worked fine on the car, ran them with no issues, and then a 2nd buyer had problems of some sort

the other thing you have to remember is, that if they seperated a header, for every product they make, all of a sudden they have 10-20k in unsellable inventory on hand

they fit on my car - not on his...it still puzzles me...if i recall there is a pic of them on my motor with k member floating around too

That being true, its what a company will or won't do that sets it apart from other companys when it comes to customer service, and Pypes chose not to. He wasn't trying to get them for free, just a replacement for one side.

I actually had an issue where I bought an hpipe from pypes and I had two of the left side h portion of the pipe and no right side portion of the h. They sent me a whole new h pipe out the same day within 30 minutes of talking to them. Great customer service IMO.

Exactly, I wasn't trying to get anything for free. It was more that they didn't try to work with me/us. I'm glad that some people have good luck with Pypes and their customer service but I wont ever say a kind word about that company.
