Nice job man

These are from last night...no changes from last time aside from installing the front springs, finally. When comparing the two timeslips they don't add up completely. The only thing I can make sense of is the fact the car was tracking side to side quite a bit the second pass after 1/8th mile. Which could explain the gain in 60' and mph but not so much on the et.

i hope my times look that good next time out. only a 1/8 mile track here but with a 1.9 60ft i still could only get a 8.5 that was with 3.31s have 4.10s now. my mph was 86 each pass though. maybe i can get 8.0 like you lol. good luck on the next outting.

Thanks...im glad the car is progressing. I think im ready to throw a 100 shot at it finally but need to get SCT PRP, then new tires. I'm gonna try and make it up but it looks like my wife still wants to go to Wisconsin that weekend for her great grand fathers 100th bday. If we don't go then I'll be there.

Im also hoping that I can get rid of the stock struts/shocks, stock lca's, maybe pull the sway bar, empty the trunk and see if much else is to be gained.

I kept the eibach springs up front with the bmr's out back. While it did do better...it did even better once the fronts were on....plus the ride quality was improved IMO as some of our local roads are not the greatest. Weight transfer goes a long ways if you're looking for traction....

Yes, weight transfer. I love the way the car handles, just concerned of going back to stock handling crap if I switch, but then again, for my goals, I can't have a "hybrid". Has to be drag or not for low 60's

Keep in mind, BMR doesn't advertise their springs for drag race applications on their site even if you go look at their drag race packages.

They are however available in their handling packages.

Thats just a benefit of being a dual rate spring...they just happen to transfer weight quite well on top of being able to handle turns.
