Well I just wanted to post a few pics of the lugs, that racestar sells with their wheels. A few weeks ago I broke 4 lugs on one wheel alone here are the pics

I emailed racestar with no response I guess they dont care about the cheap lugs they sell...

I don't get why they supply such cheap shit on those good rims.
They should also bolt on with stock hardware and not need to use some weird ass washers that you have to get on perfect.
I stayed away from them for that reason.

the wheel design and offset washers are done to keep costs down. plain and simple

351 - give them a call. When I had mine and had issues Mike H. there spent a lot of time on the phone with me going over how to put them on without issues.

Also looks like the did change the design from a year plus ago

The material just looks weak I torqued them at 89-90

I just can trust em on the track, like I told them in my email im sure they are great for daily driving, I owned a set before for my 08, no problems whatsoever, but thats not what I bought these damn wheels for lol

Wow. I only used mine once or twice before I replaced them, but I never broke a single one. They certainly are garbage. Racestar needs to at least offer a quality lugnut/washer as an option.

I just put my Racestars back on the other day, and used the McGard lug nuts. It was amazing the difference. The Mcgards are a quality unit, and make it a lot easier when taking on and off. The stock reacestar lug nuts should only be used for a paper weight, and they might even get damaged when doing that.

This is true. The McGard seem to just glide on and off, no wondering if they are being threaded incorrectly like the racestar lugs always felt.

Bit damn that was a $100 I could have used someplace else. :(
