well, i successfully tapped all 4 shanks that were buggered and cleaned up the other ones as well,

the studs were a little tougher and you had to put the spinny tool on with a handle on one side, spin half turn, take handle out, put handle in other side, spin halfway, etc..... i got the threads that were buggered bad, and cleaned the rest up

tried the lugs without the wheel, spun on fine all 10

the race stars are a little goofy, i don't like em and i do.

welds and bogarts have a round hole, and you simply have to start the shank on all 5, then pull the wheel over it and tighten each one so much at a time

the racestars have a hub which centers it, but the holes are goofy, they are cut in an oval and the washers are oblong instead of round, i still don't get that, it's not like you can set them up and when the fatter part goes to the bottom, it gets stuck there

who knows, anyway, i guess i'm going to attempt the track and see what happens

Same reason I sold my old rodlights they are hell to get on correctly and chew up lugs/washers like no tomorrow . I wish they would just do a lug specific set .

That's why I decided not to get a set. As SD said, torque them to a 100 and you will be fine.

I know what ya mean on the fronts mine are balanced with push on weights from the inside and I'm pullin like a mofo to the right.

that may just be from being lower in the front though

mine were a little hell getting on, but as long as you use the centric rings you shouldnt have a problem, i just had to run each lug down with the wheel at the lowest point so that the washer would hang down and not get hung up, and my fronts are balanced just fine with no pull all the way up to 90mph with no problems so far and im lowered also, must just be the shop that you are using to balance them, if they dont select static balance on the machine, then it will keep requesting weights to be placed on both sides
