Rack & Pinion Bushing Even Real?

Are you talking about the attachment point to the chassis for the rack housing? When I look at the Ford parts catalogue, just seeing hard mounting points with no bushings (or at least not a separate bushing available as an OEM part).

When I look at the graphic in the manual for the steering rack, I don't see a bushing -

I had to take the bolts out of the rack to change control arms, and I don't remember seeing any bushing there.

I think the bushings up front are where the sway bar connects to the frame and to the links. I don't recall any other bushing in front.

The rack and pinion is only fixed with the two long bolts.. hard to reach also ( DS ) ..
But perhaps the Yankee Marshall means the bushings inside the steering body .. where the inner tie rods enter the steering housing.. There must be some bushings, to support the rack..but I never saw them selling seperatly
