I have a type 4 ram air hood. Love the look and its functional as far as cooling goes. One problem the engine is a mess. The amount of dirt the engine now collects is unbelievable. Cervinis has a kit to divert the air to the Air filter but they want 300 dollars. Seems kinda high and i already have a CAI unit.
Anyone come up with a solution to keep the dirt out for daily driving.

If more air is coming into your engine, so will dirt. Best thing to do would be to switch from any oil based dressing under the hood to a water based dressing or sealant. Make sure to do more under hood detailing if it bothers you. Can't really think of an alternative other than blocking the inlets which sort of defeats the purpose of the hood in the first place.
