Rear bumper light cover

I've searched and can't figure it out, and I don't want to tear anything up. Can someone explain to me or give me a link to an explaination of how to replace the cover lense of the rear bumper light (right behind the wheel)? The bulb is fine, I just want to replace the cover lense.

From the Owner's Guide:

Replacing rear sidemarker lamp bulbs
1. Make sure the headlamp switch is
in the OFF position and locate the
sidemarker on the rear bumper
fascia.
2. Install a flathead screwdriver
between the rear of the sidemarker
lens and the bumper fascia.
3. Push the screwdriver to the front
of the vehicle and then slide it towards you to pop out the lens cover.
4. Carefully pull the bulb straight out of socket.

I used an old credit card, didnt want to risk marking up the paint with a flathead.

I used a tiny flat head screw driver and some tape.

Sounds like the dealer method "Stick a screwdriver in there and mess up as much paint as possible"

I went the safe route and removed the bumper screws in the wheel well, pulled the bumper back a bit, and removed the light with my hand.

I've had mine out once to replace a bulb, then again to switch to smoked covers, then again to swap to red bulbs. I used a small screwdriver each time. Just be aware that you have a screwdriver right next to your paint, and be careful. It's really not a problem.
