Hey All I have rear louvers that look a bit dull to me. They are the flat black style.I was wondering if there was something to put on them to richen the color.I am sure Armor All would work, but I want something that won't run off all over the car when I was it?Thanx

Paint and wax. I hope they are not just as they arrived out of the box from the supplier. That would be way cheap/lame.

Thanks
I have used Back2Black before, it does work well, BUT it runs off when it gets wet and leaves streaks on the paint????

I was trying to think of something that would not run off??? Other than paint Lol

Your louvers look dull because they've built up contaminants. You need to remove them.

Which louvers do you have? I have the MRT ones. They're powder coated. I use a paint cleaner and they look great. I've tried McGuire’s (sp) but it seems the cheap one that came with my wife's Toyota Corolla works the best! This stuff is the $hit. I've used it to remove wax that gets on black trim. You know the one that is on there permanently? LOL! Anyway, a bottle cost 10 bucks at a Toyota dealership.
Good luck!

Wax that builds up on trim can be removed with a rubber pencil eraser. Might work for these contaminants, too. Beware, though, this will also take off any type of protectant that you have on said trim. For my trim on my car, if there's wax, I hit it with the eraser, then Back-To-Black. Always seems to work for me. I've also never encountered this so-called streaking, although I guess with a larger piece of trim (say larger than the 1" wide pieces I'm used to using B2B on) it could very well be possible.

ha a reallly cheap way to clean trim is smear peanut butter on it, like the super creamy shit, I was skeptical when a fellow detailer told me but I tried it and now use it on every car that comes on in.
