Rear Seat Stuck!!!

Hey guys!

Strange problem here, I wasn't able to find anything on the forums, just seeing if anyone else has had this problem or knows how to fix it

So, today I went to pull down the backs of the rear seats to put something in the trunk, and somehow, the driver's side pull string has disappeared! I tried reaching my finger into the space where it leads to and was not able to located it, and it's not sitting anywhere in my car (assuming that it could somehow be pulled off). where could it have gone? How does this happen? and most importantly, how do I fix this without destroying anything?

Happened to me. You have to crawl in the trunk and try to snag it from the back with your fingers. Once you get it and get the seat down then you can re-route the draw string back the way it should be.

Since the passengers side still works on your car inspect it to see how the pull string works and that should give you a clue on how to go after the problem.

I looked at the other one and see how it's routed, but I thought that the opening for the pullstring is covered when the seats are attached. But I'll give that a try, thanks for the input!
