Does anyone have a resource to get REAR sway bar links for the S197 V6 Pony Package (2010) - I need the complete part, not just the rubber bushings. These are 19mm bushings and the usual resources have 20mm and 22mm which is no good...

Might be easier just to swap out the entire sway bar and link set up. I might have a used one you could have if you’re close I’m located in Northwest Indiana.

If you can stomach the price, Steeda offers their flashy rear links with 19mm bushings.

I just put one on mine, strange -I have the pony package but didn't have the rear sway bar, everything else was included from the pony package on my mustang except the bar.. Here are the build parts. It's a cheap upgrade. FYI -The sway bar kit does not include the two bolts and nuts for the link to the under carriage of the mustang. I linked those also, the nuts come as a pair, but the screws are sold individually.

All GT's came with front and rear sway bars. Do you have a v6? They come with a different axle altogether.

To my knowledge, I don't think there were any "Pony" packaged GT's. I think all Pony packages were only on V6. So since I have a Pony package, it's a V6. Now about axles, - I have no idea.

That means you have the 7.5" axle and no rear sway bar. That is also why you didn't have any mounting bolts because most kits reuse the stock bolts.

Ah, you make perfect sense. They assume we are "replacing" the bar not adding one on, so no need to include the mounting bolts and screws.

the 2006 Pony package did have a rear sway bar (but was stuck with the weak 7.5" rear end with open differential). Basically the 2006 Pony got the full GT suspension instead of the V6 suspension parts.
In 2007 Ford dropped a lot of the things that were standard on the 2006 Pony - some became options but not the suspension.

Good info, thanks. It was definitely a surprise mine didn't get one, as Inhad read it should have one. While at it, I ended up replacing the rear shocks, and adding a shelby brace between them in the truck to help stiffen them up, and chose some roush blue springs to level the car out, just the 1/2 inch drop took care of the weird rear gap. All stock up front, for now.
