Hope this is the right section for this.

I've always loved rear louvers on muscle cars. I'm very close to getting one, but I'm just so unsure about the louver being held on only by tape. I need some confidence so if you have any comments(both negative and positive) please share. I just don't want to take a chance and have the louver fly off when I'm on the highway. Has that happened to anyone? Has anyone removed them? If so, did the tape/glue come off eventually or did it make a total mess? Thanks guys.

Have the roush louvers also and never had a problem. I let the tape set for about a day and a half before i reattached the louvers.

Thanks guys. Just needed to hear some non-vendor remarks about the tape.

being you have a racecraft and not an actual "s" series car...i've had 3...

THe entire f'n body kit/wing is all 3m tape...saleen owners know from experience since the entire car is held together with that crap LOL

I'm confused by your comment. You've had three Saleens or 3 window louvers?

I won't bash Saleen, I'm happy with my Racecraft. With that said, I prefer not having all the body kits. Thats why I went with the Racecraft.

Cool. I'm thinking the Saleen PJ Louvers. I know they're expensive, but I like keeping things Saleen(or at least not Roush, no offense). I like this one b/c I have that same spoiler. The spoiler is a flat/matte black painted. I want it to match up. Anyone else know of window louvers with that finish? Thanks again!
