Relocation Brackets for LCA's Pros and Cons

The thing is that I have to stop the rear from getting up that high. My driveshaft is starting to rub again now that I have the supercharger on but further back than before. I've got the UCA as short as i can make it for the pinion angle so the only thing left I can do is try and stop the rear from squatting.

i think relo brackets are your answer. for 100 bucks, its worth the shot.

Recently installed CHE Anti-squat brackets with BMR LCA's and couldn't believe the difference. Working to replace the rear suspension piece by piece after lowering the car a while back (just installed a UMI on-car adjustable Panhard Bar on Friday). UCA, bracket and shocks are next on the list. This forum is an awesome resource for us guys just getting started with performance mod's (only had my S197 a little over a year now and got it looking good, want it to perform better now)!

just a touch lower than stock but i like how it looks. The car doesn't look too high or too low and with the 18" wheels also looks good.

i want to do some kind of drag racing spring but man i have the cervinis body kit and where i live thats too low as it is i drag all the time and im on 20's and still drag

i was thinking the same thing man, but i think CJ Springs will be the best for your car. It will look good and help you drag much better and is not too low at all.

You guys that have the Relo brackets bolted in and drag racing should really consider welding them on. It will be a lot cheaper than the damage caused if/when they bend.

I'm lowered and just recently put on UPR lower brackets and it does help some. Plus it rides a lil better.

The only down side to the brackets is the negative effect on handling. My car has stock springs/shocks and it feels like the rear end is up on stilts now. Just more squirrely than it was before. But the car doesn't hop any more lol

I would get the brackets welded too but I've heard of people running 10 second ETs with bolt in brackets only.

I installed the UMI anti-hop kit (relocation brackets and LCAs) Saturday. Didn't get to hit the track but I can tell you the car handles 10x better across the board.

I'm sure it is. Though I wonder how it is some people manage to not do that even with a ton of power apparently and good tires.

I might try them but i know im going to invest in a steeda hardcore antiroll bar, have you looked into those yet, chris from BBR told me that would be good with my set up....i have a BBR long block and their control arms
