Fuel out of tank

The arrow is pointing to where I disconnect the line and insert the "T" (sorry for the old pic, but its the best I could find).

Just to the right of Don's arrow, remove the sending unit for the fuel pressure guage, screw in an NPT 1/8" x 3" nipple vinyl tubing, hose clamp & you are done. It's a 2 minute job.

I have the Kenne Bell, so removing the FPS is not an easy task.

This is what I use. I bought a $5 tool from the auto part store to seperate the line. I take it apart after the car has sit for a few mintutes and I need a small paper towell for any fuel. Start the car with the valve closed and then open it up all the way after I start it. When the tank gets low and the pumps have a hard time building enough pressure to tkeep the car going, I just close the valve a little bit and let it build some pressure. It's pretty handy and it ensures I get my tank empty for when I run race fuel.

Yeah....have you ever tried to get that through the thick skull of your tuner who happens to be the first guy who broke the nine second barrier with the new 5.0 cars and who happens to be a hyperactive A.D.D. case?

"Richard....I need the pumps to stay running while the key is in the ON position so I can drain the tank."

"Aaaawww fuck that man....just run C16 all the time."

:banghead:

I removed my pressure sending unit, screwed in a 1/8" nipple & slipped some 3/8" rubber fuel hose over it,turned on the key & only a little squirt came out then it stopped, this is weird. There must be a sensor or something telling the pcm to stop fuel flow?? I have GT 500 twin pumps & 2 driver modules?

that's funny. If you turn the car to on it's only gonna send a small amount of fuel to prime the system. It's not till you crank the engine that it will send a constant supply of fuel.
