This is for my buddy's benefit but I'd like to know for future problems. He has a supra that he got re painted a couple months ago. He made the mistake if carrying it up there with his nice wheels on it and they are white. The at got spraye a factory bluish green. There are spots of overspray where you can see green and he is freaking out. Anyone have any idea what I could do to help him out? I read that acetone or lacquer thinner would work but I'd need to be careful with it. I'd sure hate to do that and ruin the finish on his wheels.

Clay doesn't always get off paint but definitely try that first. Sometimes you need to use a plastic razor and actually scrape them off, CAREFULLY, and with a detail spray for lubricant. You can also try a light rubbing compound but I would hold off on that as a last resort unless he's experienced in compounds and doesn't leave behind little micro scratches from it.
