Does anyone have a good way of removing small scratches on the car and rocker molding? I have never used a buffer or rubbing compound or anything like that just carnuba wax. Is there a good product for this kinda thing?

Some decent polishing compound will work wonders... you could always try some cleaner wax too, such as Meguiars cleaner wax.

Use the least abrasive chemical to start. If that doesn't do it, keep stepping up until you found something that works. After that, you'll want to finish it with a polish then a wax/seal.

Of course, if you don't have chemicals at your disposal, you'll have to keep buying stuff until you find the thing that works. I find Meguiar's Scratch-X works well for fine scratches/swirls...it may or may not work for you. Use a DA orbital as they are more forgiving. Stay away from a buffer with a wool pad...you'll get nasty haze/swirls in the paint, especially if it's a dark car.

I usually use a rubbing compound and apply it by hand to the area that is scratched. I don't grab a buffer unless it's the last resort.

I had some oxidation on my hood, I started with Meguiars polish compound, then went to Scratch-x that got rid of alot, I'm going to Speed Glaze next to get rid of the rest.

Check out Griot's polish selection with machine orbital (6 inch or 3 inch) there is none higher.

http://www.griotsgarage.com/category/car+care/car+polishing/orbitals+and+car+polishing+tools.do

His orbitals are very easy to use, made my Alloy from the factory much deeper and smoother to the touch, almost felt like a soft cloth once clay barred/machine polished/machine waxed.

Be weary of regular orbitals, they will burn into the paint, Griot's polish breaks down into smaller and smaller granules making them disappear and not burn paint or scratch further...Best part of all of it everything is water based and wipes up easy with a wet cloth.

Believe me or dont, been using these items for years, and have done "shows" for proof here for people, just plain sick what it can do..and it isnt a tough thing to master, it easy.

If you want to know more hit me up I will give whatever info I can. Hell, there should be vids on the website showing you about this stuff.

Maguires M205 is good for a light polishing compound. A cleaner wax will not help with scratches, it's a chemical cleaner not a polish, usually.
