So i have been dealing with this issue on and off since my new motor.
the car runs fine for weeks and then all of the sudden the IC tank is empty and the IAT goes up.
I have refilled it several times now, yes with coolant mix.. I have replaced the cap, switched with the radiator cap, checked all the lines for pinches, check flow etc. I am borrowing a pump from 281 MS but dont think that is the problem the more i think about it.
i did notice that when the pump is on and I place my hand on the opening of the tank and i can feel it build pressure sucking my hand. Is it suppose to pressurize?
the intercooler is brand new with the new motor. The HE is the AFCO unit with the stock Saleen pump.
thinking this week to just pull it all apart and check everything.

frustrating that given the cool temps and it boils over.

It should hold pressure. I'd have the system pressure checked to make sure it's holding the pressure. If there's no where obvious the coolant going I'd pull the lid & make sure your intercooler not leaking again.

It is boiling over at the cap. I can see it on the hood and around the intake there is water...

I know you've checked it but I keep coming back to the cap. I had a similar problem, the cap tested as good & the system held pressure. The problem was the cap wasn't sealing on the bottle.

That was my initial thought as well so i switched the radiator cap and the IC cap. The IC has a lower PSI rating and the radoator cap still boiled over...

Same thing I did. Didn't matter what cap I put on it wouldn't seal. Then I read somewhere there was an issue with the top of some of the Saleen bottles. So I put an extra O ring on the original cap and it sealed.
