Hey yall, first time poster here. I've searched high and low and can't seem to find an answer that works on any sort of Q&A, forum, anything. I have an 08 Bullitt and I just changed the dead battery on it (the car was running just fine before) and now it will crank but wont start. I tried resetting the PATS, disconnected the battery for a very long time and did it again, checked for fuel (got it), checked the relays and fuses, I've checked everything that others and I can think of that have been on every site I've visited for this issue. I don't think its the security system, the light goes away and it will crank until the cows come home, plus all the regular lights are on the dash and everything works correctly (headlights, alarm, PATS disappears). The alternator is fairly new, and as I said the car ran just fine until I tried changing the battery. I had a code for the O2 sensor before the battery was changed, but since it died all the codes were erased. No mods done to this thing, its all stock drivetrain wise. I'm just trying to get my car running again, and I really, REALLY don't want to have to tow it to a dealer and get royally screwed by them telling me some sensor is out inside the transmission or some crap.

What do yall think?

Check fuse 47 in the BEC. The fuse itself may appear to be OK but one of the terminals in the BEC itself could be burnt.
This fuse controls a lot of critical systems and if no power goes through it, random stalling or a crank/no start is the result.
It's not uncommon for this fuse to go after the tranny is reinstalled following a clutch job if an O2 sensor harness gets accidentally pinched. Crazy I know.

Are the plugs visibly wet after trying to crank it? you are missing one of the key elements for some reason, either no spark or no fuel. Is the battery fully charged and able to crank the engine fast enough? Is this a manual? Might try bypassing the clutch switch just to rule it out. you say you have fuel, but didn't say how you know. Can you hear the fuel pump prime?

Manual might be helpful: No DTC's - https://iihs.net/fsm/?d=9&f=Step 2-... Codes (DTCs) Present Symptom Chart Index.pdf
No Start/Engine cranks: See chart 3
Chart 3: https://iihs.net/fsm/?d=9&f=Step 3-... Codes (DTCs) Present Symptom Charts.pdf&p=12
Then reference Pin Point Tests; Section 5: https://iihs.net/fsm/?d=5
Fuel/Ignition: Pinpoint tests A: https://iihs.net/fsm/?d=12
Unfortunately, this online manual doesn't appear to include all of the Pinpoint tests. If you need something specific I may be able to find it and take a pic from the manual.
