yeah its a 08 cbr1000- freakin fast.

yeah i love the headlights on the cbr600 they light up nice.
That is my next bike maybe, a 1000rr. I won't sell my 600 though as i plan to track it. I love the 04-07 1000rr body style, but the new one is winning me over even more! Too tough of a choice, but the time won't be coming anytime soon so its ok. Do you have any more shots of the 1000rr?

Seeing this makes me miss my cbr. Nice bike man.

Thanks man, dude you should go out n get another.. :asshat: lol

A little update, received my 520 conversion with -1/+2 sprockets. Got me a EK MVXZ chain in red ;).. Also picked up SpeedoDRD so my speedo will be corrected and not thrown off by the new gearing, and i also will account for the factory % that the gauge is off.

I should be getting around to install this stuff along with the PC3.

Installed my PC3 and my 520 -1/+2 kit ;).. Going to replace the master link tomorrow as i do not like the one that was supplied with the kit... Also will be installing my speedodrd to adjust the speedo for the new gearing. Man does this thing pull hard now!

When I find a job when I get out of school I will either be looking for a bike or a cheap car. I just need to figure this shit out already.

Another random shot, just cleaned her up. Took off the chain guard and cleaned up that portion of the swingarm from all the grease n shit that was caked on there ;)

Here are a few short pulls messing around with my friend on his 06 r6 that has full exhaust.. As you can hear i didn't do WOT fly bys b/c traffic and then traffic lights. Just happened to finish getting the bike tuned and geared so i wanted to feel how she pulled.. In the last clip if u look closely i just mashed the gas in first and the wheel came up. I let her down and then eased into it. N yes, that is my 600 that is screaming lol

Thanks Caleb! It has been my main focus since i bought it, unfortunately that means the stang barely gets driven and the only mods its gotten since the bike came around is the brembos and new front turn signals.. lol

I love it to death tho, hauls ass, fun to hit the twisties, etc.. With my 520 conversion kit n slip on exhaust it is capable of low 10s if i can get a solid launch.. I am hopefully running her down the 1/4 sometime soon. I know a friend with the same setup, he did a 10.40@135. Not bad for a 600 at all!

Bought a Zero Gravity Double Bubble (Dark Smoked) windscreen, Brake pads for the front/rears and new brake fluid.. Haven't put the brake stuff on yet, it just came in today.

Quick video, 21-126mph pull not going WOT until 2nd gear b/c it will pull wheel and ruin the acceleration video. I know, shitty quality, it was mounted on my gas tank with a suction cup.. I still do not know what that weird noise is, it only happened on this clip i recorded.

Unfortunately i found out my gauge is off and it is saying i am going slower by 1.5mph. Not bad though, that was my first correction i put in my speedoDRD when i installed it. I guess i will fine tune it a little more to get it to be dead on accurate.

21-126 in around 8 seconds if i counted right, pretty good ehh?

beautiful bike! I just took trade on a 2008 Yamaha R1 for my broke down F-250 lol. Not sure if I'm gonna keep it and ride or sell it and use it for the mustang.

I do miss having a bike but I did swear that after losing 3 friends in one year that I was done riding.

We'll see how I feel when I take delivery on the R1 though :)

Ill try to find some more shots of my 1000rr...

Let me know how those driven sprockets work for you- i replaced mine with driven and got terrible vibration- they sent me another set still the samething. So i went back to stock and havent had a problem since. Hope they work better for you.

the 07-08 cbr600 is a awesome track bike - im hoping my wife retires from riding so i can have her 08 cbr600 lol

Thanks Lupo =), damn that is a pretty cool deal. The 07-08 R1 is the nicest and fastest model of the R1.. If your into bikes and want to legitimately have a bike, keep that one then.. They sell like hotcakes bro, everyone is always looking for the 07-08 r1.. If you just want to flip it, it will be easy and i'm sure you can make good money.

only other one i have.
Thanks bro, the bike looks good! As for my driven sprockets and EK chain i did over 2500 miles ago and it still rides/runs smooth as it did when i first got her. I am at 14,000 miles as of today ;).. Maybe when you installed them/whoever installed them didn't get it on correctly.. I have seen people flip the sprockets and put them on the opposite way.. :oops1: I guess it helps that i read a how to as this is my first bike and i had my boy Judd give me pointers and make sure i was doing it right.

very nice man..

Just bought a 06 cbr myself right now. I LOVE IT.

Ive got a 09 sv650f gladius right now and its a nice sports cruiser style bike, but the CBR feels so so so nice. I love how it handles and how well it responds! Deffs a lot nicer than my 06 R6 I had and feels much better too.

Say how easy was it to install the levers and the new handles? I wanna buy some for over winter to toss on there but dont want to pay a shop to do it. Never done it myself before

Congrats on the purchase man, its a fun ass bike. I have put about 9000 miles on it since i bought it. Installing the Levers and hand grips were all quick jobs.. To remove the stock hand grips, just roll them back like condoms lol, once off lube up the new grips with hairspray and jam on there, twist and push. boom its done. I would say the levers and the hand grips were each a 10 min job. Do not pay anyone to do it, they will screw you and its too easy to not do yourself. This is my first bike (currently 23) and i have done everything myself. I would recommend going to 600rr.net, they have a great forum like this one. I have learned quite a bit on there. My username on that site is 0h6 cbr ;) Post up some pix in here of your new bike!

Retro...Why haven't you stripped the swingarm of all the warning stickers and what not?? Powder coat that bitch black...

I had plans of that, but i don't want to have my bike down for 3-7 days for me to drop it off at the shop to get powdercoated. I gotta find a week when i am out of school to do it, this is my daily driver so i need it. I plan to do it black and the engine covers as well, along with full exhaust done black. Just been too broke i guess, i was in between jobs so yeah i was saving any penny i could.
