Rotating Assembly How-To?

Can anyone point me in the direction of a good "How-To" on installing a rotating assembly? From start to finish... I found a engine swap one, but...

Did you find the tick and is it related to this, or are you just building for more boost?

There isn't a real how-to out there. your gonna have to do some research on engine specifics. have a goal in mind to determine what kind and how much machine work you need done.

My block has ~15000 miles on it. Im gonna hone the cylinders and have it washed at the shop. pay them to gap my rings and then just build it the same way i tore it down.

Same here, but just for the general assembly portion of things.
There were many little things different, such as torque specs with arp bolts, different parts, etc.

I had the machine shop gap my rings to what they thought was best with my intended setup. Same with piston to bore clearance and surface finishes. Measured head flatness myself with a straightedge and feelers.

I used tty bolts for mains and heads. Had to look up manley specs for torquing rod bolts with 30 weight oil (they were very specific about using 30 weight for lubricant).

I targeted Fords side rod and bearing clearances, met them and use 5w-20 as there isn't alot of room for oil flow and I want to keep phaser function.

Anyway I found the manual to be a great guideline for assembly. I also got to see it in pics from a thread Paul (oneeyedwillie) made when he first assembled a motor. That made it alot easier to comprehend.
