Hey guys I have a chance to get a hell of a deal on some 2017 GT wheels. I have a 2011 GT and I know the wheel pattern is the same but I think the lug nuts are smaller on my 2011 so the S550 have bigger lug nuts. Would it be safe to use my S197 lug nuts on the S550 wheel or if I need bigger lug nuts what would be the size I need?

Not even an issue, it is the conical seat that centers the wheel and since it is an OEM ford wheel, it will probably be hub-centric anyways

From what I have read, the bore for the S197's are 70.3 and the S550's are 70.5. Will this make that much of a difference?

0.2 mm? Go stare at a tape measure and then think about the thickness of the slices if you were to split 1mm 5 times...about equivalent to 1 c__t hair

That's your metric lesson for today

I don't need your metric lesson. I'm well aware of how much .2mm is. Thats .008 in inches. That's your decimal lesson for today!

Actually website Padawan the exact calculation would be 0.00787". Regain your composure and take a minute to get your dainty lacy's out of a knot. Not a great way to make an optimistic introduction of yourself. First impressions...well so much for a first impression.

If you think 0.2mm will matter. Sell your car and take up crochet.

Political correctness made it so they were no longer an acceptable unit of measurement so there was no point in keeping them around.

So much for freedom of speech under the constitution.. IMO Political correctness is just another fine example of how democracy is dying off more and more and being replaced by socialism :laughlots:

Car looks sick with those wheels. Makes me want a set for my 05 sonic blue GT. Nice looking car. Are the turn signals the smoked version from AM?

I put a set on and my car immediately exploded due to 0.2mm difference in hub bore.

Imagine if it were 0.3!

The same sort of "political correctness" and freedom of speech is what has some people setting cars on fire over the recent election results, burning flags, and demonizing straight males. Our country is being bastardized by entitled millennials, but I digress..

It's those very same hypocrites that whine and complain about hate, racism and violence who are the ones provoking it to begin with by setting cars on fire, destroying property and putting people's lives at risk, all because their candidate didn't win the presidential election.. So just where in the hell were all these Hillary protesters on election day when it counted, how many of them actually voted ?

And I don't give a flying shit that she won the popular vote either, as Trump didn't even bother campaigning in some of the states in which she won, especially in California.. As Trump won the election by meeting the requirements of the electoral college written under the constitution of the United States fair and square.. Therefore for all the crybabies who never got off their pathetic asses to vote in the first place, have no business to bitch over the election results to begin with anyhow.. So get the fuck over it and move on !
