Saleen Alternator Pulley vs. factory alternator pulley

Anyone know the difference between the saleen alternator pulley that comes with the 475hp kit and the factory one? I bought a S/C used and it is missing the alternator pulley. Any suggestions?

The pulley that is on your car ,if stock, is a one way type pulley. Meaning that it will free wheel in one direction , and "grab" in the other . If you are going to put the Saleen charger on then the alt. will be turned around and spin in the opposite direction which means you will need a pulley that locks in both directions.

The OEM alt. pulley has a one way clutch which will not work when the alternator is reverse mounted. Here's the parts#s for what you need.

I never knew that! I pulled off the saleen a few weeks ago and was thinking the pulleys were different sizes. When I put them next to each other, they sure werent lol
