SCT Economy option

Just wondering do you think its a good or bad idea to activate the Economy Fuel option on your SCT Tunes. I heard that it limits the fuel and can cause knocking in the engine. Just wanted to know peoples opinions.

I used it on mine and felt a considerable difference in throttle response from 'go' to WOT. I have heard that the Eco Tune retards timing to help out with fuel economy. I didn't run it very long so I can't help you out with any of the adverse affects of the tune itself. I'm sure if you call SCT they will assure you that everything should run as normal and there will be no adverse affects to your car.... Then ask them if they would cover any mechanical issues if something were to go wrong! LOL Good luck!
