I just got home from my 1st drive with my new Whipple. It's everything I hoped for. The install looks factory and power is going to take some getting used to. I saw on the hwy. that it runs a lot cooler. Really happy and thanks Livernois.

Today it's fast enough. It's cool though that a bolt on can do so much. Hard to believe no tune required.

Doesn't Whipple include one in the kit? I dont think it could run on the factory tune?

I was talking about the ST Motorsports intake mod that says no new tune required. Mine was dyno tuned at Livernois.

I think you do need to tune the intake tube. just the shear amount of air flowing is so much larger than stock intake for the whipple that i think it would lean out. Hell it is a 4" diameter

You are correct---what I stated in the video is that no tune was performed--so the results came from the intake and thats it. If we would have touched the tune, then everyone would have said that alot of the extra power came from the tune. We didn't want that, so for test purposes only, the tune was not touched for that test.

Now that makes since. So how much was made after the re-tune then?
