At first I thought it was the out put to the drive shaft, replaces the seal.... Took it for a run and came back put the clean drip pan back under the car and a couple hours later I checked to see if it was leaking and dangit! It was the shift link selector seal....
First question, Any one deal with this issue? I don't know about you guys but I slam gears hard and fast(probably the cause of this LOL)
Second, if possible and I can re seal it with that stupid $15 seal, do I have to pull the housing apart or can I just pick it from the out side?
Third, any pics or ford factory walk throughs would be appreciated. Thanks all

I only read of this issue on two other forums, none gave any info. All my shifter bushings were a tad loose too... I firmed them up and have a Polly kit coming in for it... Actually looking at the pic details... Housing looks fine so the metal may be just shit from the road I guess.... Just looked to me like metal in the fluid path is all... That clean spot is where I reached up there and rubbed my finger and found the wet spot, so after that, you still can see some wet areas mixed with dirt... I did spray the whole trans down after replacing the output so that fluid up there is fresh
