Shifter rattles

I have this very annoying rattle in my car. At first I thought it was the little shift boot holder thing that that goes around the shifter. However, when I hold it is was still rattling sometimes but it does help sometimes. So I grab the shifter and it goes away. Most of the time it rattles in 5th gear, but it does rattle in the other gear at certain rpms. Has anyone ever have they’re shifter rattle? Is there anyway to fix it with our replacing the shifter. (I have no job so I can't be spending lots of money)

yes, the bolts appear to be tight

Wow, a TSB for a shifter boot.

I have the same thing, but with a Pro5.0. I think it's getting a little loose under the car - probably need a new application of locktite. The stop-bolts always rattle...I should probably adjust them, too.
