My question is, why?

Aren't there plenty of options out there? What is it that you guys don't like about the other options? Do you just like BMR that much? Do you not like using the other company's products? Are their designs poor? All the above?

Kelly... Let me be VERY clear...

The people have spoken, we are pounding on your door with money in our hands. We want a product, made by BMR. Make it happen. That's what good companies like BMR do, they listen to customers... Especially ones with $$$. ;-)

With that said, I will be waiting for your next thread about BMRs new product for the S197 called an axle brace. And it better have pics. ;-)

The only thing I can promise at this time is, if it gets shot down by the powers to be.....I will consider making one myself for you guys. I don't think you guys realize how many cars that we build parts for, and how many parts at any given time are "in development" Also, if we build one...it would take a substantial amount of time to make it available due to the testing process. I am not sure if 100 votes on here is good enough to seal the deal, but I will give it everything I can to get you guys an axle brace.

I guess I can see that. But, it's just a brace?

"just a control arm" "just a mount" "just a bushing" "just a brace" that could give peace of mind to a lot of people who won't trust a welder with their axle tubes. everything is "just a something" before somebody wants it.
There are also a lot of people using your LCA relocation brackets that have no option for an axle tube brace.

My question is, if there is a market why are you resisting?
Your company has the capability to make a nice bolt in piece to support our tubes, you guys have the brains and the machines. Who doesn't want more peace of mind while racing, and who doesn't want to just bolt it in and go? take my money!

that sounds better!!
FYI this thread has 805 views since yesterday at 4pm, I don't question the validity of the votes at all.
and this is just one forum!

Take preorders and deposits?

The problem is there are few alternatives for people running BMR relocation brackets. The UPR support bars need welding, I assume most prefer bolt-on.

100 votes? Really?

Someone must be doing some sneaky sneaky to get those votes up so high.

I guess I can see that. But, it's just a brace?

Be sure you take Deposits! LOL I would hate to 100 votes and 10 people buy one.

it would be my next buy...i just dont trust my car to someones "word" of their own welding skills. I rather buy a proven product...sounds like a better investment

This is what you get BMR for starting a thread and getting everyone riled up about twisted axles. Lol

Better come up with a brace or the competitors are gonna get the sales. ;)

Take mah money!!

Seriously I was like #7. I'd buy one for sure. After seeing about how much works into welding them "right" and knowing that's not going to be happening until when I build my car in years, and I mean YEARS, this will be nice insurance in the mean time.

I vote yes... mainly cause I dont trust people touching my car. It would have been welded.
