i have the same amount left to pay on my car, you could easily do all that stuff to your car with the extra cash you'll have here in a couple months, at least i know thats what i'm gonna do. plus you know your car, that thing could been dogged the hell out and is smoking or something. i'd just keep yours. or at least get something totally different, like a Shelby not another Saleen almost just like it

other than the location of the car, the description seems pretty accurate. I have a redfire Saleen and it's a great color. if it's an 05, then the car is sonic blue, not vista blue. Sonic is too purple for my taste, so you may need to see it in person. I think you are going to take a hit on your car with 90 or 100+ miles.. it's just a high mileage car to get a Saleen premium. if you can make the difference in funds work out, I would check into it, but the delta is probably going to be more than dropping some $ into yours, but as you said your car is getting up there on miles.

I dont think im helping at all... but you should approach from a financial angle of what the options are and what you like. Like some have mentioned, a 5.0 can be had for that kind of $ and it will have a warranty. Oh, the hood pins are hideous on the Saleen hood (which you can not get the SC hood any longer, except used). Also the 05 saleen SC hoods were crappy fiberglass. Aluminum ones didn't come out until 06 or 07, so I would check that out.

I will look into it, General consensus seems to be to keep the one I got. I am going to keep looking around and see if anything comes up but no extreme shopping yet.

I just really don't like daily driving a car that has close to 90,000 miles and I know as soon as I pass the 100,000 mile mark... this car isn't going to be worth anything and its hard to save up enough money to build a motor like I want to. I would like to have a stroker with a saleen or KB supercharger but, its tough ya know?

Fair enough, those miles are getting up there. It'd be a tough call, but it would have to be a KILLER deal on another Saleen for me to consider starting over on a loan after nearly paying the first one off, only to get a very similar car.

You want a clean Saleen 281SC...buy mine with only 9k miles:thumb2:

I really wish I could, but I don't have the ability to take on two payments right now.. The only way I can do it is if I do a trade in!! :/
