i did but they were brand new un-coated valve covers. they're a little more orange than i wanted. i was going to go for a burnt orange but that color looked more brown when i tried the samples. i acutally wanted to match the saleen pulleys, but those turned out to be a really dark pink or raspberry according to all the samples. if i did that i would have to put a rainbow on my license plate frame.

I agree with Rojizo! I had to lengthen all the wires on the passenger bank of the engine and the whole headlight harness. One wire at a time. Car fired on the first crank. The only problem I've had in a year and a half were a poor ground at the PCM from the starter, and the ground from PCM to chassis. Other than that it works like butter. This is something anyone can do! I give it a 5 on a scale of 1 to 10. Dont be scuured!!

make sure it's not your clutch safety switch. what i thought might be a bad ground effecting the starter went away completely when i bypassed the clutch switch. ordered a new one from rock auto, but i haven't got it yet.

Well the other week I was at the school car meet when my car wouldn't start. Figured it was the PCM to starter acting up again, so I took off the inner fender out of the wheel well so I could check the ground. When I tried cranking the car all the guys started screaming and shouted at my to stop cranking. Turns out one of the mounting screws had backed out and because of the uneven ground it was shooting large sparks every time I tried to crank it lol. Fixed it there in the lot, and has been fine since...

Wow. Some guys could freaking eat off your engines. I don't know how you do it...

Mine will never look that clean, but I love looking at it just the same.
