Well that ain't gonna happen because Ozzy has invested way too much money in the track since taking it over. I'll gladly pay the extra $7 for a track that hooks as well as it does.

Same here, track prep is better now for sure.

Have you posted specs on your Hoisers? What about safety equipment; cage, c-clip eliminators, axles?

What do you want to know? I have no intention of competing, strictly test and tune. Axles are stock and I'll never put a cage in the car.

Which Hoosiers do you have on the rear? Slicks or qtps? You don't get any flack for running those times without a cage or the other parts?

QTP, and they don't hassle anybody with a 2008 or newer car until they get below 10.0.

Well that's my goal though. I am trying to figure out if I should go with Mickey Thompson ET Drags, QTPs, or any other tire over the other. Looking at 28x11.5-15s. We can take this conversation over to my thread if you want to make recommedations there.

I'm running 26x11.5-15 but I have 3.73 gears. I'm hitting redline at about 140 in 4th.

A buddy of mine just bought a set of the new Mickey Thompson 275 pro radials and knocked .2 off his best 60' the first time out. I may end up changing gears so I can go with the same tire. They say a radial is no good with a stick but everybody is raving about the new 275 pros.

Dave, with the manual transmission ratios I think 3.73 gears and a 26" tire is better. Well, until you're trapping over 140 anyway.

I used a spreadsheet and came up with 142 mph at 7000rpm with the 6060, 4.10s and a 28" tire. That is what I am planning for my setup.

This is the tire for your best time slips.

Yea, depending on where you run the RPMs to.

With my 3650 I had 4.10s and a 26.4"

I have the 3650, 4.10's and 28" M&H 325/45/17's. Dave, how much power/tq were you putting through that 3650?

460/41x - been a while so I don't recall. ran MT 265/40/18s 1.6x 60's dropping the clutch around 4500-5000 rpm

When I first got the M90 and bought my first set of slicks, I bought 28" rears. At that power level (around 400hp) and the 3.73 gears it was not a pretty sight. I could either go through the traps in 3rd bouncing off redline or I could shift into 4th about 200' before the finish line. I got rid of that setup after 2 weeks. That was over 2 years ago and I'm finally getting to the power level where I might be able to pull a 28" tire with the 3.73 gears.

Unfortunately there is also the issue of the very tall 1st gear in the T56 so going with a taller tire will hurt me more on the starting line.

aah, I didn't recall you had the T56, that does change things up some.

Is 4th still 1:1?

Yup, sure is. I'd like 4.10 gears for the 60' but then I'd need a taller tire for the finish line, which would put me right back where I am at now with the 3.73 gears and 26" tire.

Really? I have the wide-ratio T-56 and first gear with my drag radials is pointless. The best I could do is launch off 2nd gear... lol
And I'm feathering it all the way to 4th...

Although I have not tried a true drag strip surface...so far its only been street surface.
Sigh, I'm starting to sound like Street Outlaws... LMAO!!
