I bought an 8 rib pulley kit from GI Joe but they are all Ford OEM pulleys. You can ask Sam or Steve if they can find something appropriate. The ribbed idler I have is smaller, about 72mm I think. You can always bump up one of your smooth idlers if you need to take up belt slack.

I only have 3 idlers and they are all 90mm; two smooth, one ribbed. lol

Man, wish I was back in FL... I lived 5 mins away from that track. :(
Sounds like you guys had a blast!!

Getting an error message, hopefully it will play soon.
And you killed me on the second run, your trap speed was 4.5 mph faster than mine.

Damn some one was dead late on the tree!

Yeah, fresh off the truck and WAY outta practice, but no excuse... Simply lost. I'll post one in a while you won't believe. FWD pieces of crap that dragged water all the way to the tree. I blow the tires off so badly that it nearly scraped the chin splitter. I just stuck in 2nd and floored it til it hooked. Fortunately Christine was running very well and caught up with Brian even though I was 7/10ths of a second slower on the 60. ROUND 2 goes to GT500.

You would see major ET drop along with 60' with a WOT box. You bogged coming out of the hole. I had a Honda drag water ahead of me one night running KOT at Lassiter. I refused to run that lane until they dried it. Ended up breaking out against said Honda lol.

I always bog coming out of the hole no matter how hard I launch. I've dumped the clutch at over 5k and still bogged. If I could 60' better I could knock 3/10 off my times.

WOT BOX!!!!! Will help build boost and end bogging. It will also help be way more consistent. Even though you may leave at around the same RPM, you are playing with the throttle to get it there and you are almost always at different throttle positions at the light. I know if I can leave hard at 420 you can do it at 640 lol Our cars are pretty similar suspension wise, I think we even use the same tire, and I use to leave at 6k for what its worth.

S&H does group buys on them. The website is http://www.npcompleteperformance.com/wotbox get the dual function. It is simple to install and easy to setup. It will make a world of difference with no side effects. How it works is it cuts ignition at a set RPM, you determine that, when the clutch and gas are pressed all the way. Then when you let go of the clutch it stops cutting ignition. It will help build boost because it creates load. The second feature is the no lift shift. It also cuts ignition while the clutch is pressed changing gears. I wish I had a good video of my car. It is probably one of the coolest sounds because you are going from gear to gear with no RPM drop other than the ratio difference.

Good run!

WOT box is made for "no lift shifting",hence the name WOT box. If your not interested in the no lift shifting then you can just get a MSD 2step OR talk to justin about setting up the 2step in your tune, SCT can do it thru your tune. I have a WOT box but rarely use it for no lift shifting because I always forget about it,lol...my fastest run ever was with no lift shifting thou....

If I can launch without bogging via something through my tune I'd much prefer that over cutting and splicing wires. Especially the part I read that the car will not run without the module once it is installed.

Here's the result of a front wheel car going before us. No look at Brian here, but you can see my car. Hook for a nanosecond then BAM into the water. I just hit second and stayed on it but it was uber ugly.

Ask justin about the2 step feature, I've never messed with it but there is a thread on here somewhere about it, I think Matt d started it. Justin will know exactly what your talking about, I can't remember if there was a trade off when doing it. I'll see if I can find the thread.

Found this:

Gimme a call and we can talk about the wot box. In the meantime, here is that hotlap. Not great, but at least 1 out of 3 clean passes. Nobody in the other lane so I had some time to see if the new suspension stuff was working.

It was literally 10 minutes between passes so the trap was down a few mph but a nice way to end the night.

Looking forward to getting together again soon.

Much better launch on the last pass. I need to be able to launch like that consistently.
And I don't have your phone number. But we'll have plenty of time to talk about the wot box soon. I already emailed Dad about it.

I don't see the no run without the module as a bad thing. I see it as a anti theft device. Really no reason to ever take it out of the car though. I tucked it in the passenger side fuse panel and run the cord up to the glove box for easy access to tweak the 2 step according to track conditions. The soldering thing I could see but hell man you replaced a motor and a transmission along with all kinds of other things...a few wires shouldn't scare you. I promise if you get one you will not be disappointed. I saw a 3 tenth improvement N/A.

I'm just worried about some cheap Chinese module failing at some point down the road leaving my car stranded. My mechanic is an expert wire splicer. He strips the wire ends, weaves the two wires together and soldiers over top/through the splice. Then heat shrink wraps the whole thing. Beautiful splices.
